Keeping a Figure Eight Puffer in a Fluval Edge?
I’m thinking it can be done if its the only fish in the tank. They grow to a maximum size of 3 inches, and are rotund. The fluval edge is a 6 gallon, top sealed tank, and it has a strong filter. What do you guys think?
absolutely not … maybe one dwarf puffer but definitely not a figure 8 or green spotted … one dwarf puffer needs 5 gallons … when you move to the brackish puffers they need at least 20 gallons from day one … and just think, you could buy a 30 gallon aquarium kit for about 10 dollars more than the 6 gallon fluval edge … fluval is a company all about form and not function, that tank is a rip off …
