I need recommendations for a good place to take the kids fishing in portland,or?
We want to go somewhere that is a nice area for all to enjoy. No hiking or rock climbing spots! ( ha ha) We love trout ! Any advice would be great- we’ve tried roslyn lake, and trillium lake too- those are real crowded places, anything a little more spacious would be great. Thank you
Don’t try fishing in Troutdale. Henry Haag lake is good sometimes, a few miles to the West of Portland. If you go to the website: www.dfw.state.or.us you can find information on where fish are being planted in the lakes.
Click on Fishing Resources, and then look for plantings in your area, probably the North Willamette zone. They list a number of lakes.
